What we do

Taos Ski Valley Chamber of Commerce roles and responsibilities.

The chamber offices are situated in the resort center opposite ski school. The office also serves as a Visitor information center where we provide to tourists maps for the local trails, business referrals, resort information and information on the areas attractions for day trips away from the village.

The Taos Ski Valley Chamber of Commerce is responsible for reinvesting the lodgers tax contributions into the Marketing of the Village of Taos Ski Valley as a year round destination. The Marketing initiatives include representation of the Taos Ski Valley at over 50 Trade shows per year, Billboards, Print Advertising, Web Marketing, Public Relations and Networking. The Village has 62 businesses licensed in the Village of Taos Ski Valley. The Chamber of Commerce actively supports these businesses to encourage their growth, we do extend our membership to business licensed out of the Taos Ski Valley. By doing this we are having a greater impact on visitors and their awareness of the valley whether they chooses to visit for an event, day trip or stay in one of the many lodging facilities.

In the Summer months the Chamber has been developing and promoting events to attract visitors to the area. These events include trail runs, Mountain Bike competitions, Operatic performances to name a few and the recently launched Taos Mountain Music Festival.

Our vision at the Chamber is show people how beautiful this village is year round and what we have to offer as a vacation destination.
