Guided Hikes, Full Moon Hikes and Herbal Medicine walks
Taos Ski Valley is a hikers paradise. There are many hiking trails to suit all abilities - from moderate 4 mile hikes to the challenge of tackling the 16 mile hike to Wheeler Peak. Guided hikes are available with
knowledgeable guides. On a guided hike you will learn about the flora and fauna, herbs, medicinal plants and history of this beautiful area.

Full Moon Hikes
The hike is 2 miles each way and moderate. The hike can take a few hours so we recommend the ages of 12 and over. This is a free hike to all that wish to attend. Hikers meet at Hiker Parking at 8:50pm. Please call if you would like any further information (575) 776-1413 and check the calendar for the full moon hike dates.

2 miles one way (approx 1Hr)
1,000 ft gain in altitude (start at 10,000 ft)
It is always cold at night in the mountains so please be prepared!

Wild Earth Llama Adventures
On the trail, our gentle, sure-footed llamas will carry your gear, while experienced naturalist guides share their knowledge of southern Rocky Mountain ecology: native flora and fauna; edible and medicinal plants; natural and regional history; and wilderness living skills.
Snowshoe Tours - Northside at Taos Ski Valley, Inc.
Northside is a looped trail network with spectacular overlooks, single and double track routes through pines, aspen, and meadows. This playground extends well above tree line in Taos Ski Valley.

Based in the Taos Ski Valley our camps focus on hands-on outdoor education and learning experiences promoting heathy lifestyles for children from 1st Grade and upwards. We have operated as a non-profit 501-C3 since 1996.
